wait, you removed the guide support and grommet that is stuck in the top mounting hole? Does KW provide a replacement for that part?
Take some pics of your car's suspension with the wheels off, so we can get a better idea of what you are talking about |

I'd DIY a lot of stuff....... but I wouldnt DIY on my suspension or something that could impact the "safety" while driving unless I really know what I'm doing...

ok, I see what you are talking about. So the KW shaft is thicker than the oem shaft? Drilling out that dished washer shouldn't be a problem. FWIW, you have to do that on koni applications if you have a honda/acura, as the koni shaft is larger than the oem. As long as the parts move freely like before, and you don't have excess slop, you should be fine.
