Hey ... just found you guys, so thought i'd drop by and say Hi !

Just placed an order last weekend for a 330i M Sport Saloon in Sparkling Graphite & can't wait for delivery in September.

Had my eye on the car for a while & following a recent visit to the British Motor Show in London last week and seeing a model on show, I just loved the car.

Popped down the local garage at the weekend, saw one in the showroom in Sparkling Graphite and was hit with the "wow" factor ... it looked stunning.

Had just been to the Audi garage and was almost ready to sign up for a "new" TT ... but not a chance after experiencing the BM.

Everything about it was just right ... the M aero kit, the stunning 18" design alloys, the interior, the straight 6 engine ... it was all perfect.

September cannot come soon enough and I look forward to talking to you guys about everything 3 series related

Congrats - are you getting any options? You don't need much with the 330i msport I know - but I have gone for pro-nav, bluetooth and folding seats.

Just nipped into my dealer at lunchtime and my 330i is apparently due to arrive with them in a couple of weeks.

I have asked for them to arrange registration etc so that I can pick it up with a 56 plate on Fri 1st Sept

They also invited me to go in and look at it while it was waiting in their care. I know I will but it's going to be tough not to drive it away there and then

One thing your probably going to find out about is that their is a rumoured engine upgrade for the 330i, which I know my car will miss and expect your's will too. The new 330i will get the direct injection system that is going into the 335i from launch on the 23rd Sept 06.

When I spoke to my dealer a couple of weeks ago he only had confirmation of this engine for the 330i coupe with an unconfirmed launch date.

The DI engine will get 272hp - but I am relaxed as I doubt the updated engine will be on the road before Oct / Nov.

I must say though that every time I hear (for example) Mr. Clarkson say "BM" I laugh. Of course it means something completely different over here.

Had no idea of the new engine ... oh well, like you say, at least we'll get our cars without any long waits .. & there aint a lot wrong with the current straight six is there.

Very little in the way of extras as like you say the car comes pretty much fully loaded .. only extra was a 6 disc cd player .. even metallic paint was a no cost extra !

You've gotta wait for registration on Sept 1st .. as tough as it may be

The M Sport kit is what did it for me ... it is an automotive styling work of art, which looks stunning on the car !

I have been advised my delivery will be 2nd week of september +/- 1 week .. so could have as early as Sept 1st

Either way I should have the car in time for the meet and after having just checked the location: Donnington ... my fave UK race cicuit and only 80 mins from me .. would be VERY interested to meet up

Congratulations on your new car I pick my 330d next week can't wait currently driving a rental 318i E90 which in it's self a very nice car so can't wait for the pick the m-sport up.
