Mysterious Mtech part...

Hey everyone,
I just received my rear M tech bumper from Tischer for my e92 335i. The bumper is getting painted and I'm installing it tomorrow. There is a piece that I am confused about and I was hoping someone could explain. It is part number 51128044375. From searching I have found that it is known as the "Guide, bottom center"
Here is a picture I got off a forum that that shows it. I couldn't make since of the forum because it was in Spanish.

...and here are two pictures of it that I took.

If I could just see picture of it installed I should be able to figure it out.
Thanks!

That piece goes on the bottom and connects the bumper to the car.

I figured that but it doesn't line up with anything. I just don't know where to put it. lol... It looks like it should be obvious but I'm just not getting it.

Yeah, it does have a diffusing look to it. I don't see how it would fit anywhere...

I just went out and looked under the car and I don't see the plate that it is supposed to replace. Here is a pic. Do you have a pic of this installed on your car? I just need to see where it goes.

Ok so it might just be a feeler plate for the 328i.

The guide is not used for the 335i's. I have the installation guide and it specifically says that the guide is used for single-flow exhaust systems (aka, non-335i's)

so you don't need it

That was my next guess but I didn't think they would send me a part I didn't need. Anyways thanks for your help, now I can go to bed.

I had the same issue doing mine a couple of weeks ago and the consensus was it is for the 328 only even though realoem shows it on the 335 and tischer ships it for the 335.

Want a pair - you can have mine!

I just got my rear bumper replaced with the aero bumper & mine had a guide under the car. I think the shop threw away my old one, but I believe I need to put one back. My car is a 328i e92. Is this the same center guide for the aero kit also? because the shop said once i changed it to the aero kit i no longer need the guide.... But I think they are wrong
