Hey E90Post Members,

Here's another great exhaust system by HKS and I can't say enough about it. Perfect fitment and sound made by one of Japan's best aftermarket companies. Installed 2 systems the previous two days, and both customers can't stop raving about them. Not overly loud and absolute no droning when driving at highway speeds. Gives you +13-15HP gain and some weight savings at the same time. Win Win situation when you're looking for a COMPLETE exhaust system from a distinguished company.

Total Install Time: 45 Minutes

Thank you for both member coming in and giving us the opportunity to install this great system. Both had downpipes installed at the same time and both are amazed at the improvement their car has made!!

man. i wish i can hear that soundclip with the downpipes also... guess ill have to wait till i get home from work to hear it. i love this exhaust. looks good!

Are you guys selling this exhaust? Or is Bimmerworld the only retailer selling it? I am definitely interested in this setup!

Ok, the second car is mine. All I can say is that I love it so far. Nice deep rumble when you get on the gas, but mellows out when in cruising rpm range. Fitment is near perfect (I only say near cause to me, only OEM is ever really Perfect) and again, it is a flanged system, which is something that I really wanted. While the first guy has AR DP's, I went with Titek instead. The combo of these, along with a bit of help from JB3, really had my DSC working overtime. Spool up is really quick now. For anyone who cares, I just about use BavX exclusively because of their excellent customer service, and great prices doesn't hurt either. But to me, it's the quality of service that counts most and I always get that from them.

They're about 3.25" - 3.50" titanium tip on the HKS dual exhaust system. Definitely one of the best looking systems out there!!

I really don't like the "burnt tips" look. Are there other exhaust tips coming out?

I've heard Bimmerworld commissioned HKS to build some exhausts with stainless tips (not titanium with burnt tips).

They told me by August they should be out with stainless tips.

I really like the look and sound of this exhaust. Too bad they put an H in it though, that might be the only reason I stay with the AE exhaust as my #1. AE with the burnt tips would be incredible
