Tire Rack Banner?
This could be in a completely wrong place, but I just wanted to see how many people agreed (or disagreed with me) on this...
What in god's holy name are those rims doing on the 128 in the 1addicts Tire Rack ad banner? I think it's extremely tacky and misrepresentative of the wheel selections for these cars. Anyone else care to chime in? It bothers me every time i come to the site. Bling bling, yo. |

I feel the same way about this:
The E90post car has the m-tech kit. Couldn't the 1 at least have the 135's more aggressive bumper?

Ditto - even if the vendor is paying them they should pass. It'd be better if they showed some GTS-Rs on one, especially since they're the exclusive dealer for them.

I'm pretty sure that's the BMW performance bumper in that pic. I guess they thought it looked better than the stock 1 series bumper.

I'm not a fan of the wheels either. Perhaps it was flashy so we wouldnt overlook the fact that we can do anything wheel-wise with the car. I'm moving it to the ''feedback" section.
Someone should get a hold of Tirerack and tell them how we feel. They just might be inclined to chop something less shiny.

People! That is the 135i performance package front bumper!! That bumper is more agressive then the stock 135i bumper. Its definitly not a 128i bumper. The car even has the performance package stripes on the side. As for the tirerack banner, I agree it needs to get changed. We had an old thread about this and I think the admin himself even agreed it sucked, I guess it would be up to tirerack to change the banner.. who is going to start the petition? |

Thanks for the feedback guys. We're going to change it and get some more appropriate wheels shown on the car. I disagreed with this wheel selection but it has taken the collective feedback of this group to push it through.
New banner coming soon!
