Smile Alpina Wheels and Bluefin

Can any one help? - I've tried searching but to no avail.

I have an E90 sport and have been offered some genuine Alpina 19" with 235s front and 265s on the backs. There are also some spacers which are apparantly for the fronts (4 of them 3mm each, 2 for each side) are these spacers really needed?

Also has any Bluefin'ed a 330d - to what results i.e was it worth the money?

First post so go easy

i'd test fit them first with and without the spacers. check for rubbing while you're at it. if the wheels sit to far inside the wheelwell, chances are you will need 1 or 2 or the spacers.

Does that mean new longer wheel bolts too? Don't fancy taking 6mm of engagement from the thread. Its odd really I was expecting Alpina to be a straight fit, without spacers and new bolts. I was hoping this guy was just using them for show, but he seemed unsure which is why I posted the thread.

Anyway, I've agreed the deal and will pick them up/fit them tomorrow - and check for rubbing.

Would still be interested if anyone has had any experience with alipna wheels on the E90.

Thanks

from what I read and hear from other wheel experts, if you are considering using spacers thicker than 5mm, then you have to use longer bolts. If the spacer is less than 5mm then you can use the stock ones.

No matter the size of the spacer, you should always buy extended lug nuts. Most vendors sell the extended lug nuts with the spacers as a package.
