Any lights dimming?
I have a couple questions to all those who have their aftermarket amps and subs installed. Do you experience any lights dimming? What setup are you running? I plan on running a Kicker zx750.1 and 12L7. Thanks...

Hard to say, perhaps someone with a similar amp can chime in. The electrical system of our cars is pretty solid though, and since the battery is in the trunk, and you are using a class D amp, I would bet that the amount of dimming would be minimal.

I have (2) Fosgate 12" subs rated at 600RMS and (2) Fosgate 600RMS at 2ohms with a 20 farad cap and no dimming whatsoever.

A cap will provide the voltage more quickly when the amp requires it to hit the low end. It has the ability to store this power and distribute as opposed to drawing it directly from the battery.
