Help New Asantis Look Tarnished After 2 Months?

Hey I put some new asantis on my car and I have not gotten around to washing it for like 2 weeks so. I was out of town and my girlfriend had it washed for me at some car wash place and when she brought it home i noticed the lips still look dirty like rust or haze or something. I went to pep boys and bought chrome cleaner and polish and still no luck any ideas?! Cpild it have been a cleaning agent they used? LOOKS HORRIBLE

Try clay. Then put on protection like Poorboys sealant
