You go to court. You pay. You pay for increased insurance premiums. You pay for a Valentine V1. You learn your lesson.

Your second in how long? If not on probation, go to court admit fault, pay fine and hopefully no points.

61 in a 40? What was difficult in keeping it down a bit?

I dont think im in a mood to sympathize with you. Hope you learn from this as it isnt fun to be paying exhorbitant premiums while in college.

Probation is usually one year. If you were on probation 8 months ago....you're SOL. If you paid the ticket last time and no court, do as I suggest in previous reply. GL!

You can lie, and say that it's in the process of being put on (shipping materials to you, or something) and be prepared to possibly back it up, or tell the truth, and pay the fine.

I know, it sucks, but hopefully you can just learn the lesson and move on. Itll all be over soon

Get a traffic ticket in Connecticut and you will have the option of pleading guilty to the infraction or violation and paying a fine by mail. Or you may choose to challenge the ticket in court, where you will face a judge or hearing officer to explain why you disagree with the issuing of the ticket.

If you choose to pay the fine, you are admitting guilt to the infractions or violations. You can also expect:

Points on your driver's license. The court will notify the DMV of your admission of guilt. The DMV will then add points to your driver's license. Accumulate too many points and you could face a license suspension or be forced to go to traffic school.
An increase in your auto insurance premiums. The courts and the DMV report motor vehicle violations and infractions to all insurance companies licensed to do business in the state. Although there is no official requirement that insurance companies raise rates after a moving violation conviction, most insurance companies can and will charge more to drivers with moving violations on their records.
http://www.dmv.org/ct-connecticut/traffic-tickets.php

It dosent seem to say anything about speeding excessively (or any consequences attached to that).

If you go to court you might be able to talk to the prosecutor and pay a larger fine in exchange for a lesser ticket with no points. It's all a big scam so they make money.

Tell him that since you are unable to maintain a speed below 60mph even on 40mph roads, your constant high speed driving, combined with the aerodynamic drag caused by adding a front plate, would waste of gas, increase our dependence of foreign oil supplies, and fund terrorists. That should get you off the plate violation.

First, there's no way to get around to dismiss the front plate ticket.
Everyone lies in same fashion anyways, so why even bother being a typical liar?
We had enough of , "i just got a new bumper and didn't get a bracket", "My plates were stolen", "I had a small accident and I had remove mangled front plate while I get the new one", "I was touching up the paint" ...yada yada...

And for the speeding ticket, get a lawyer if you are really concerned.
Just don't do speeding.

I hope you havent forgotten about your premiums. Just wanted to say that if the cop clocked you at 61, the speedo should have been indicating at least 65 and you should have known better.

You need to slow it down junior. I mean two tickets 8 months or so apart?? You shouldn't complain. You got what you deserved. I hope you are not one of those pricks that drive around like the Fast and the Furious all the time. This weekend I came across a chucklehead that had similar 330i like mine. For some retarded reason he had to show off and act like it was race time. He got right behind me then passed. He then slalomed down the hill passing 10 or so cars. A few mins later I passed him as a cop had him pulled over. What an stupid ass kid. I just laughed.
