Don't do it. More than likely you'll throw some sort of error code, those lights have their own resistor boxes to help 'not' throw codes, but in my buddies 330i, it did after a few days.
Get the original blacklines or mod the oem blacklines to fit with the led arrays in the 09 tails! |

Aftermarket Tail lights
Have never heard of these guys, but be careful with ebay items, additional caution regarding after market tail lights, if these things are cheap, the first time it rains or you wash your car, your tail light with turn into an aquarium! If you do decide to get them I would reseal them with some silicon to ensure this does not happen!
