Angel eyes

I want to HID the angel eyes but im not sure if that would be "considered" voiding the warranty or not! I saw one today and it looks so sick!

There is no way they could void the warranty. Buy another cover if you are concerned. They are $8 a piece.

it would void the warranty for the headlights
any problem you have with the HID or adaptive lights would not be covered by BMW
unless you take them out before you take it to the shop and replace the notched covers

can someone clarify what are some of the advantages of HID the angel eye?
isn't it LUX5, PIAA, RD LED or other white color bulbs bright enough?

HIDs will be the brightest available output and provide a crisp xenon white color. They are the best option for a brighter setup over OEM but are a bit more complicated to install than your standard LED based solution. The LED solutions are usually more affordable and an easier install but will not be as bright as HID.

Well first off you are getting confused with the Coupe and the Sedan models

For the Sedan there are a lot of options, LUX, PIAA, RD, etc. these are custom made designes only applicable for the e90 cars

For Coupes, it is aa H8 bulb style, which includes any color H8, the Angel iBright, LUX e92 prototypes, and the RD E92 design.
