he did say he owns a 328i. Plus he liked the guys car, also he at some point said that his car runs slower than that guys who he pulled over..

me thinks he pulled you over to talk cars. the BUS was only going about 2 mph slower than you. yes some CHips are car guys too.

nope. pretty sure thats wat got me outta it. if it wasn't that significant, he wouldn't hav asked me what branch of service i was in.

Not bad...I got pulled over doing 125 on the 95S outside Lake City, FL in July 2000. I thought the cop was going to haul me in. When I told him that I was in the Navy and was driving from Norfolk, VA to San Diego and have been driving about 12 hrs already, he lightened up. Turned up he was retired Navy, so we BS's for about 10 mins. He knocked down my fine to 5mph over the speed limit, he even gave me the choice to pay on the spot with a check, which I did and he wrote me up a receipt. He did advise me to pull into Lake City and get a nights rest.
