What are the expected increases in hp, any additional sound sorta like the bms duals. I love the design. this looks the closest to stock(which is good) plus its a dinan. so no bullshit from dealers about intakes and stuff . Also when is the expected ship date??

Looks great but I'd have to have a written guarantee of substantial HP increase directly from the throne of the Most High before I'd drop any more money on an intake.

people are still falling for this non-sense? $700 for some eye-candy intake? well, I suppose compared to the $2200 GrouppeM one, this one is cheap

When is it being released?
I really like this design. It's the best of both worlds (stock ram air effect + CAI effect).

Well my take on it is this:
I have Dinan Stg.2 and oil cooler (dyno'd and verified to give me close to what is claimed). If Dinan is smart enough to release a revised flash for those that buy this intake, and provide actual testing results, I'll consider it. |

That design makes the current set of scoops on the market inconsequential. Whether this gives any noticeable power increase or decrease in IATs - who knows?? But 600-700 bucks for essentially a new cover for the stock airbox, some plumbing and an air filter seem like overkill.

I'd like it better if it used the stock snorkels PLUS that extra filter.
edit: see below.....it turns out I do like design

I thought that is what it is? It would just be like another pipe to the same stock airbox?

Thanks for the heads up. I'm in the same boat as many of the others...if Dinan can show a tangible HP increase and there is a FLASH update to go along with this, I'd definitely consider it. Anything under $1000 from Dinan is a bargain!
p.s. Is it true you ditched your flash and whored out for a PB?

Is there a check valve on the Dinan add-on pipe? What if positive pressure (not even sure if this occurs) that is created by the stock snokels are just escaping through Dinan's additional pipe?
