alloy refurbishing
anyone know of anywhere good to get my alloys refurbished near leeds? I think i just want the same finish that the alloys had as standard. How much would it cost for a set of 4 18'' wheels? Ive seen some pretty expensive prices about. I think they are the MV wheels on my e46.
The paint is chipped round the edges, some real ground in brake dust that is in little pits and behind spokes the back of the wheel looks like the paint is flaking off!!!! |

Wicked Wheels are a national franchise, very good IMO. They do mobile from rim only to full front and rear bead blast and spray.
They do nearly all the dealers repairs too, I've used them twice - couldn't even tell the difference. http://www.wickedwheels.co.uk/locations.aspx If you don't mind leaving your wheels somewhere for a few days then get them stripped, painted and baked for a factory finish at Prestige Wheels, they're in High Peak, which is Manchester way but they're very good also. (they do mobile too) http://www.prestigewheels.co.uk/main.html :-) |

Hi,
Not really near Leeds but I use Metal Magic in Barnsley, I have used them for my previous cars alloys, including TVR Cerbera Spider alloys and Audi Cab alloys. They did an excellent job (I am fussy) and charge around £50+vat for 18's, but have a chat about the cost ![]() If any good, their number is 01226 298544 Jules. |

40 odd miles away from Leeds but these guys did a good job on my 18" rear 162 which had a scuffed outer rim.
Cost £40 plus VAT and they needed it for most of the day - although I got the impression that I could have arranged a morning or afternoon had I wanted or needed. http://www.alloywheelsrefurbished.com/index.htm Tony
