Do I jist have bad luck..or what?
So my rotors/hats come in...shipped from Alcon in the UK to Stasis. I am psyched..remove the old stuff..put on the new rotor on the right side...lookin good...go to the left side..remove the used one...and start to put on the new one..and I look at it...and I say to myself "right?". Did I put the left one on the right ..and now I am putting the right one on the left? NOPE...I got two right rotors...even though the box was labelled one left and one right. I swear..I have a hex on me...no doubt about it..
So, I put the old one back on the left..and call my contact at Stasis..he will be calling Alcon on Monday morning. What a friggin total hassle. I have been waiting for rotors SINCE NOVEMBER!!!!!! That is one reason why I am not tracking this car..and am building the track miata...I am going out of my brain.

Dude - you have the worst luck.
I have had my share of brake problems, but it's generally because of stupidity on my part or just overworking the brakes. Plus, I have always been a skeptic that aftermarket = better. I'm about 50/50 on aftermarket parts. Half of them make things worse. Or in a associated manner, half of them result in piss poor service that make me frustrated enough to go back to stock. Prime example - I won't get a moneyback guarantee that V3 will result in limpless track use. Given that I've only found ONE iteration of Procede that has been completely limpless, that demonstrates to me a fundamental lack of confidence in your own product. Sorry, off topic. |

I'm stumped. My car has been so good to me. (except that one time) No limps, no pumps, no breaking. The one thing that's strikingly obvious is, you're F'ing fast. And, your car is the hardest working 335 I know of. Maybe that leads to some sort or conclusion about tracking a leased car. Or you just have super bad luck.
