PDC available with sat nav?

Is there a graphic display for the park distance control - like the green, yellow to red one in the 5 series, in a 3 series with the sat nav option?

Comes on automatically when reverse is engaged.

If you pay extra for the front PDC (like I have) you need to press a button to swotch it on (it turns itself off once you raech a certain speed).

It's pretty impressive, comes up on screen in colours just as with 5 series. Perhaps a bit over-sensitive to the sides, but very useful.

Front wasnt an option in the States. I have the rear and love it.

You only get the display with Professional Nav.

With Front PDC, you get a button the button to turn on/off pdc. As most parking manoevers start with a reverse, that is normally sufficient to turn PDC on, in which case it then stays enabled until you turn it off by the button, or reach the certain speed mentioned above. The display does give a reasonable depiction of the profile of the obstable, and just to put the icing on the cake, the beep for front obstacles is a higher pitch than for to the rear, and the sound comes out of the speaker nearest the obstacle!.

The only down side is that the solid beep zone seems a bit too large (maybe a foot as opposed to nine inches.)

I can't believe BMWNA decided to REMOVE a feature in the 3.. sheesh.

yeah I love PDC.. wish my car has front PDC too..
