Cool E 90 Bluetooth

I have a 2006 E90 with bluetooth and really need to change my phone to something a bit more up to date. Can anyone tell me for certain if a Sony Ericsson C510 is fully compatible and if not any recommendations ...either SE or Nokia preferably. Thanks

Blackberry Storm and Curve 8900 work well too!

Avoid Nokia N-Series though. Had N82 which cut out every 15 minutes!

Previous SE K750, K800, K850, C905 etc all work 100%

Again the Nokia N's are all iffy on BMW bluetooth.

Another success story with a Sony-Ericsson C905 here, if that helps.

Can I ask what is the parts you have to enable the I-Phone to work (i.e. 6fl USB ect) I am looking to get the retro fit and would like to get the right fitments. Thanks in advance.

If you have problems you can do an update to the soft, as I heard afterwards it will work with Symbian from Nokia. My K800 is fully work but the car cannot import contacts from E50 (with Nokia Symbian).

Initially iPhone 3G wouldn't syn the phonebook properly until apple updated the firmware for the phone.

My Iphone 3G now works with bluetooth, however I constantly get complaints that other caller cannot hear me too well at times although I can hear other caller fine.

For that reason my works Blackberry is paired as the first option and works without any issues at all

Most Windows Mobile 6 based phones work.

I've used several HTC's without problems, both smartphones (S710, S740) and touch screens (P3470, Touch Pro).

Just be careful with Orange SPV C600 (Had one as an old work phone) and would work when it felt like it.
