MA state police sent me a speeding ticket?
I got a speeding ticket in mail. WTF???
All my detailed information on that ticket, my 'violation' was: 95mph in 65 mph zone on I90, failure to stop. I mailed it back to Boston MRB to require hearing, and they mailed it back, with another letter says: it's a criminal offense, so I have to do magistrate court in Dudley first. ????? anyone got any idea about this situation? Thx in advance. |

That sounds like some bullcrap. I don't have much advice, but if you're dealing with a 30-over ticket here you're best off with a lawyer. Especially in a situation like this.

WTF, sent you a ticket! This is the first time i've ever heard cops sending speeding tickets. I guess it must have been a camera that caught you.
maybe give the site below a read...they're advertisting free consultation, good luck! http://www.tickethelp.com/Vermont/

Time to lawyer up and ask the DA for details of the alleged "speeding and failure to stop".

No prob, i kind of know what you're going through....i had so much bad luck with speeding back in highschool that they sent me back to driving school. Best thing to always do (if you have time) is go to court to fight the ticket. keep us updated.

Welcome to the club~ The people of the Pacific NW like to drive 60 on the fast lane, but that saved from ass today because there was a motorcycle cop shooting laser on I-5 S Express Lane. I was going 62 on the fast lane at that time

I can recommend an attorney, Darius Arbabi, his office is in Framingham on route 9, one of his specialties is traffic violations. I used him once last year. I got a $200 speeding ticket (70 in a 50 zone) waived at the Magistrates hearing. He charged me $500, but I didn't have to pay the $200 plus my insurance premiums would have gone up way more than the $300 difference. I have no points now, I would have been paying higher premiums for the next 6 years.
You definatley need an attorney for this one. Otherwise, pay it.

Countermeasures Countermeasures Countermeasures. The future of Traffic violation will be more tickets and less interaction from LEO's. I'd be plenty pissed if I got that ticket claiming evading. Good luck.

There really was no defense other than my claim that I was not traveling at 70mph. I think the main reason I won is because I had an attorney sitting next to me. The Magistrate knows you spent more $$ than the ticket is worth for his services, so he cuts you some slack, plus he knows your dead serious about fighting it to the end.
