shift knob question

Hi Guys,

i've tried searching but can not find a definite answer ;-(

Does anyone know if i need to buy a boot if I want to replace the stock shifter with E46 ZHP Knob (PN 25117896886) (pic) on my 09 335xi?

I was hoping I would get used to the OEM one - but i dont think i will, it feels awful in my hand when compared to the Audi A4 shifter i'm used to...

Thanks in advance!

love it!!!... so much better than the stock shift knob. The stock knob is too tall and weighs less than a sheet of paper. The ZHP knob coupled with a Short Shift Kit is perfect!!!
