My front wheels 19 x 8.5 ET28 fit with room to spare.

You can use the wheel offset calculator in the Technical Forums > Wheels and Tires Forums.

The answer is NO. I have 19x8.5", 40mm offset infont and it's very close to the strut side...just ~2-3mm left.

Thanks Jimmy. I knew the outside fender would be okay, but didn't have a clue about the inside of the wheel/strut side.

Hi ksfrogman,and pretender,

What do you guys think is better,
for front application:

19x9in with et32 or
19x9in with et29

(the width is 9in so it is compromise between 8,5 and 9,5in for front tyres)

I was wooried the 32 might still rub the strut,
and the et29 to rub the fender.

I also wonder will 245/35/19 still fit or only 235/35/19 will fit.

Which one is better,do you guys think in term of fitments and of course flush to fender looks.
Oh yes,I lowered my car with Eibach Pro kit.
Thanks

using ksfrogman's and pretender's fitment as guides, i think the 19x9 et32 would work best for your front.

on the strut side the calculator shows you will have 11mm less clearance on the strut side, and pretender's fitment shows 12mm less clearance on the strut side.

the fender side shows you will have 15mm extended and on ksfrogman's fitment shows his is extended 12mm, i think an extra 3mm extended will not be very noticable and will make it flush perfectly

you should be able to run 245/35 with this set up but I'm not sure if it will rub on the fender, 235/35 should work though.

Hi thekewl1,
thanks for your input
From the calculator above here is what I got:
KSfrogman: 19 x 8.5 ET28
Mine : 19 x 9 ET32
I will have 10mm less on strut and 2mm more on fender
I remember lot of people say the most perfect fitment for front is KSfrogman size 8,5 and 28offset.
but I agree with you 2mm is nothing, and I should be find.
What worries me is the 10mm less on strut.
But if I use ET29,it means 7mmless on strut but now 5mm more on fender. This might be problem to fender though.

Pretender: 19x 8.5 ET40
Mine : 19x 9 ET32
2mm more clearance on strut but outside extend 14mm

Hmmmm
Yes I guess you are right then,
the ET32 is perfect, unless I want to go with 245 size tyres.
Then I might have to use et29 and roll the fender.
cause ET32 with 245 means I might rub the strut.
Thank you again,

Thank you again,
I don't understand why you have a choice, but chose to roll the fender which is the last solution to fit wheels. Based on these numbers, you should be okay with 32mm offset. I highly recommend 235/35/19 tire size. Trust me, 245/35 is a little bigger than the stock and will kill your gas mileague.
