LET tune - flash at home
Anyone seen this? LET stage 1 claims 52 HP @ 12 psi. Even more interesting, you can rent a remote tuning kit and flash your car at home. $500 for the flash -

LOL.
A Dimsport Genius (flashtool) and a Dell mini laptop. And you don't get to tune it. All the laptop is for is to read the data from the Genius and email it to them. They then adjust some goodies and send you a new file to flash back. |

how interesting that you care so much, future vendor maybe
Anyways, I'm not either way on this tune yet - mostly interested in the fact that you can "flash" at home. BTW, isn't that something ESS said wasn't possible because of the complexity of the N54 ECU? |

does this take away from the fact you can do it without removing the ECU?

Do some research on the Genius tool (including the cost). They charge $2000 for the flash kit for a reason. Just imagine if you dropped the Genius. Its not the best option, thats for sure. |
