JB+ Codes!?
Just wondering those of you with the JB+ how many of you have thrown codes on 75% or lower?? I am considering one but really don't want to be throwing codes or buy a $300 BT tool. Thanks!

If you don't take it out on the track or constantly high revving the engine, it is unlikely that it will throw codes.
I had mine on 100% and only throw codes when I am at the track. It doesn't throw me any code under normal driving conditions. |

I've read a few people were throwing codes at the default setting. And thats as high as I would go even though I'm pre 29.2. default still give you like 40 hp and 45 torque doesn't it? Thats plenty. I really just don't want to throw any codes!!

Why would the JB+ ever throw codes at the default setting of 2.75 PSI when the SSTT does not ever throw codes at 3.5 PSI? |

It was a thread you were commenting on, I can't find it now. You said even the SSTT has thrown codes. Hidden detection codes I think? Any codes at all I don't want...So the MIN setting is still a 25-30 hp gain? How about torque? Thanks!

I've been running the JB+ @90% for over a month with multiple WOT runs to 150mph without a single code thrown. I'm pre 29.2 and do have the BT tool, scanned the car multiple times and haven't had a single code.

Got it for $287 from burger motorsports. As far as the fuel milage goes, depends on your driving. Driving normally in the city I get about 20-24 mpg, but when pushing it 15-16 mpg. And to see the codes you need to connect the BT cable to your car and run the program. You run a quick test, and it shows you the codes if any are present.

Agreed. So far with my discovery is that the car only throw codes if WOT for a long period of time.
