Question Help On LSD Terminology

can someone explain the following? help much appreciated. thanks.

1. open lsd
2. closed lsd
3. variable lsd
4. various lsd % like 15%, 25%, etc
5. ramps like 30/90

ya, that would just be an "open differential" as opposed to an "LSD = Limited Slip Differential"
