My motorcycle trip to Galena, IL
---This is hard.....but it is time to sell my motorcycle so that I could get a place of my own. I took one last trip to Galena, IL (the mother of motorcycle roads in the midwest--borders Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin) where I was able to test the bike to its limits one last time. Galena is an awsome place where there are nothing but twisty roads, no traffic or police officers setting speed traps, and a lot of motorcyclists. Anyhow, took a few pictures and wanted to share them with you guys. It's too bad that I didn't have a better camera. I have the black warrior, and my best friend has the suzuki sv650. If you guys ever get a bike, this is the place where you should visit at least once!!!

Girlfriend and I like to take trips out there every so often. Galena's roads are great for BMWs as well.

Nice bike!
Sorry we couldn't have taken a trip together, having a house is a good thing though. I'm on tour until september 13th, and plan on riding my bike to L.A., then up the west coast, then back to Chicago. You know this is a bad time to sell a bike, maybe you should keep it till the spring time Good luck to you.

E90 325i and Suzuki C50T owner here
I'm also in Chicago and I have a 2006 325i and a 2005 Suzuki C50T motorcycle, trying to get as much time on the C50T before it gets too cold to ride for me (below 35deg F), then it's back into the warm BMW! I look forward to riding to Galena and other spots this spring, both in the car and the motorcycle. Attached are pics of my C50T.
