Rogh paint after re-painting bumper

Hi to everyone.

Last week an asshole scratched my front bumper. I decided to send it to repaint. it. Today I picked it up. I told this people NOT to wash it.

When I got the car was in deed a little bit dirty and with a "white dust".

The job was flawless. I went home and washed it. I realized that the paint was "rough" and didn't bead as well as always.

I'm going to call the advisor tomorrow to ask him, but I'm sure he will deny it (after I specifically asked like 3 times not to touch the rest of the paint)

Do this people polish the car or maybe they wash it with some kind of cleaner that took out my Zaino?

Should I use Dawn and re-zaino again??

Thank for the answers.

It is dust from body filler that has landed on your car. Clay it first.

"Overspray" Definately a nice souvenier from the bodyshop.......

Innovative Detailing always recommends to our customers that after any type of bodyshop work we should do the following..

1) Wash and Inspect for overspray or bag marks
2) Clay entire vehicle including glass and all light lenses
3) Polish entire vehicle
4) Wax areas that were not painted
5) After 30 days apply wax or sealant on freshly painted area
6) Clean all grubby fingerprints from techs on the interior

I do advise that the painted areas be reinspected after 90 days for shrinkage, and overall paint quality.

More than likely you'll need to polish

Dave is correct in the process after a re-spray or repaint

Feel your windows, they will be "gritty" too. Overspray. I'd consider asking the painter nicely to clay the whole car and see if they will.
