Strange!

I currently have an SSTT and an HKS BOV on an otherwise stock vehicle. I have been getting limpmode every so often when I am accelerating But it’s not throwing a code. Once I turn off the vehicle, it goes away. I took off the Chip to see if that was causing the LM. On my next drive, I got the LM again, but I think once the system re-calibrated itself the Limpmode did not happen again. The BOV has what I think is a lot of oil. I know some residue will occur but how much? My next step is to remove the BOV and try to duplicate the results. Has anyone else encountered the same? Does anyone else have any ideas?

are you getting boost? your charge pipe may have slipped off of the throttle body. make sure its clampd tight

I wil get boost and hear the pressure release, until it goes in to LM then no boost. Why would turning it off and back on reset that?

it wouldnt. I was wondering because if you werent ever getting boost it would be that. it was a common problem when I had my HKS. I dunno man.
