Newbie 1st post

Hi Everyone

Just checkin in to say hello, Used to be a member at e60.net having had e60's since 2003. Wanted something a little smaller and overshot the mark ending up with an SLK350 for a disasterous 9 months. Anyway after a fairly messy divorce with MB am now in the market for my 1st E92.
Have just made a bid on a 56 plate 335i se waiting for the owner to come back on my offer, fingers crossed. The car has a massive spec and so I really hope he accepts my offer.

Kind regards

Binary

Welcome. Fingers crossed on the deal going through OK. Are you after a manual or auto (manuals are like hens teeth but the best IMO!!!); I presume you're after an auto after E60's and a Merc; you'll love it either way.

Plenty on here from the Manchester area so can point you in the direction for local dealers, etc, but sure you already know this already.

Guys

Thanks for the welcome messages, judging by the banter I think I will enjoy my time here.
Just heard that my offer has been accepted and will be going to look at the car tomorrow. and barring any nightmares will hope to have it sometime next week.
The car is currently on BMW finance so that will need sorting as will the cherish txfer.

Went to my local BMW garage last night and saw an identical car same year, colour and rims and it actually looks even hornier than I imagined so I'm getting pretty damned excited now!

No problem would probably struggle to find a camera with a big enough lens anyway

She's a beaut...

Went to see her tonight knew at first glance it was going to be right.
Exactly what you would expect a well looked after, 26k mile 30 month old car to be and more.
What a ride, What an engine, puts my previous e60's into the lower division and as to comparing it with the slk, well I just wont even go there.

Can't believe how much the Idrive menu's have changed

Arranging for the AA to inspect asap need to pay off the finance co and hoping to pick up next Wednesday. Reckon I will need to suck on a lemon to take the smile of my face.
