FOR SALE- 2006 E60 M5; 23K miles; $49K
I've decided to sell my 2006 M5. It's black/black/aluminium trim; loaded; SMG; 23K miles. BMW warranty and maintenance plan has one full year left on it. Asking price is $49K. Only reason I'm selling is to get back into a two door sports car (namely a 997S). Here is the cars.com ad link: http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...eadExists=true |

I love this car, I wish I was at the point right now where I could buy it. Unfortunately I will be a year or 2 out.

Thanks for the kudos/wishes fellas. I think I've got it priced very fair given its condition (I know the pics aren't the best but trust me, its really really clean), options and miles. The M5 market is soft, no question....as is many others including the 997S that I'm hoping to get into.

IMPORTANT ----- I forgot to mention that if I run the sale of the car through my dealer that is searching for a 997S for me, then I can do a couple thousand better on the price because of the sales tax benefit of trading in the state of Maryland. So, you would be looking at $46.5-47K.

I know its not convenient but I will say this. I bought my 996TT from a dealer in Dallas, TX. I had a PPI done on the car at Park Place Porsche in Dallas to make sure everything checked out. The PPI came back clean; my wife and I then flew to Dallas to look at the car in person and test drive; did the paperwork; spent the weekend in Dallas; and I then had the car shipped to MD (cost of $600). That same car was then sold to a guy in Nashville, TN. He flew in to BWI; I picked him up in the car; he drove it to my house; gave me the certified funds and drove the car home.
I'm a bit of a nut I admit but it was exactly what I wanted at a very good price so I made it happen. |
