Talking Another new Individual E92...

Picked up my new 330iM on Wednesday afternoon

Built as a Highline model which saved me a reasonable amount. It is finished in Midnight Blue with Cream Beige leather and Burr Walnut trim and 19" 225s; auto box, Servotronic steering, Pro Nav plus all the comms, adaptive lights, heated seats, electric rear blind, Business speakers; usb.

Quick wipe over tonight to get rid of the first bug splatter after a trip today, more TLC at the weekend! A few quick pics to give a flavour, the Midnight never looks black but has a rich hue of blues depending upon the light and is much richer than Monaco imho.

The Highline is an "extras package" currently being offered by BMW(UK) - basically you get leather, bluetooth prep and upgraded wheels (depends on SE or M which) worth about £2k for ~£700. It just enabled me to get an even better deal, tweak a bit further and still pay less than the original deal. In effect BMW(UK) shifted the goal posts for the dealer which worked in my favour.

It is similar to Monaco but as I said once I saw the Midnight in the flesh on another car (Z4) I knew it was the colour I wanted and once you move into spec orders you may as well get what you want - had originally been going for Onyx which when I saw it in sunlight was an interesting mix of blue, green and purple which just didn't work for me.

Love the colour combo, I have seen Midnight on a Individual Z4 with Champagne leather and it looked superb. You have a great history of BMWs on your signiture. I bet you would love to have the E30 323i still in your garage for weekend fun.

I am sure you will enjoy your 330i a neighbour has one and it has a lovely sound when he pulls out the end of the road.

Same interior combo as my E92 335d.

Like the exterior colour and enjoy your new motor and that sweet straight six.

Thanks, I do have a bit of "previous" as they say and a fair bit of loyalty to the brand - they just do it for me. I have enjoyed every one of them and since 1983 only had about 2 years without a Beemer (when I was in Cyprus) and I can still count the number of days on one hand when I have been left without due to failure.

It is a very different drive to the 525i - funny that lighter car, 80 extra bhp and a 6 speed box First impressions of the engine are just great.

Not sure yet although anything would be discrete even allowing for my mid-life crisis...

Midnight Blue with light interior.....great combination. My previous car (a Golf MkIV) had the same exterior/interior colours and fell in love with it as soon as I saw it.

Top choice!!!

My next door neighbour has an Alpine White E92 330i M Sport too and it does sound very nice. Really makes me sick that I got rid of the 335i!!! Anyway, the 350Z will start the noise battle again

Great looking car. Nice spec too. You'll be more than happy with this Beemer too I'm sure.
