Its finally here

Well picked it up over a week ago but just been too busy to post.

Promised one myself for a while now and its great feeling to pick up a new one - had only 11 miles on the clock.

320D M Sport

Few extras - Logic 7, USB link, Bluetooth and Visibility Pack (Xenons, Auto Wipers, Lights, Turning Lights and High Beam Assitant)

Decided to keep standard 17" as with high milage rubber will cost a lot plus needed to save some ride comfort.

Now to start modding, not sure about a spoiler (m3 lip) but first probably better ring bulbs and maybe a front splitter (though this time I better just check my drive way)

What credit crunch then - not on here.

Agree with the new look E90. Enjoy!

PS, is that your 'tab' near the front spoiler?

Played tackle? Offense or defense?

My number was 72. I played end, guard, and tackle: sat on the end of the bench, guarded the water bucket, and tackled anyone that got near it.

Probably the main reason why I waited as could not stand the original e90 it felt always there was something missing in design. now it just looks so much better.

Question is which mods to do / not to do.

On my list are
1. New ring bulbs as current are too yellow
2. Rear M3 Spoiler Lip
3. Front Splitters ( seen them on pre LCI e90s for the under foglights sections)

Mostly on Defence , Nose or Right Tackle - also known as the psycho of the team, being a lineman had more tackles sometimes than the safety

what you mean by tab ??

Also not a case of credit crunch, old car was a 6 year old e46 facelift model. 320D as well, great car but too old for company opt out rules. So had to go, plus new ones gives me better mpg, lower road tax and costs slightly more. Price into the old cars the warranty etc its the same but instead of driving a 6 year old car have a new one. so not bad outcome

Cig. end/tab end

What I meant was is it's nice to see people buying new cars........ you know, the way the media bang on we should all go out and top ourselves.

Understand your point, and yes a good outcome.

Quite, driving around Chippenham today and in the queue coming the other way was a 09 Gallardo, a 09 DBS and a 09 X5 within 6 cars of each other (and me going the other way in my new 330)!

credit crunch aka the media needing a news sensation - yes there is a squeeze but it would be a far smaller one and easier to deal with if the press would stop sensationalising it - still makes it easier to get a good deal on the car,

A set of black grills would set off the shadowline!
