If you want Sirius-get it when you order car

I'm stupid. But I love helping others learn from my mistakes. I should have gotten Sirius for $600 installed when I ordered by 3 coupe. But, I didn't. Now I'm dropping around a grand because of installation costs. So if you're thinking about getting Sirius, and you're ordering a car, I'd order it when the car is built. Oh well. At least I don't have to listen to horrible Chicago radio stations anymore (except NPR and XRT of course.)

I was told my card had it. My fault for not double checking. But you are correct.

You do not have to get module installed at dealership. You just have to get programming at dealership.

if you have an iphone or some blackberry/treo, you can just sign up for XM/sirius, and log into it using the pocket tunes app...for 9.99....save a few bucks

I've done it with my BB and think it sounds like crap. I love my XM.

You don't love B96? You are right though. I was looking into it and my dealer refused to do the programming saying they'd void my warranty. Something about not trusting me to do the install right...

Check another dealer then, it is pretty common, but they usually want like 125+ just to flash.
