what should your tire pressure be?

I just recently got a 330i sport package with run flats. I was wondering how often to check the pressure and what to keep it at. Thanks

Use the facotry recommendation. Check your tires atleast once a month. Twice would be better. The Tire Monitoring will allow for pressure to be off slightly so not reliable. Best to check it yourself often and also initialize it when you add air. Check your pressure now if you haven't done so. Mine was a little off as well as other members. Congrats on the new car!

You can see it each time you get into the car...it's on a white sticker inside the driver's door frame.

I find that the E-90 runs better with about 5 more lbs of air per tire than the recommended fill. Maybe I'm just imaging this, and I wonder what other members have experienced.

It depends on your typical passenger/cargo load, the speed rating of your tires, and the speeds you drive. Look on p192 of your manual. 32F/36R is how I roll (<100mph Potenza OEM RFTs).

i found that my goodyear eagle F1's GS-D3 run best at around 30 front 32ish rear. any higher and the ride gets very hard and you loost some traction.

My dealer said they have been experiencing some wear problems with the run flats and are recommending higher pressures. I had the tires rotated at 5000 miles and they set my pressures at 36 front/40 rear. My dealer also recommends rotation at 5000.

I do 35f/38r, which is the middle of three recommended settings for this car.

The lowest is for maximum comfort and speeds at or below 100mph (32f/36r). This setting gives the best ride, but the steering tramlines a bit.

The middle is for all speeds with normal loads.

The highest is for all speeds with heavy load (38r/45r). I've not tried this setting.
