what's under the OEM silver paint?
Can the silver paint on OEM wheels (like 189s and 162s) be stripped off to reveal an aluminum surface? I am a huge fan of the brushed aluminum surface.
Thanks |

Under the paint is a gray base coat/primer coat. Then after that it's the metal but I don't think anyone can do the brushed aluminum look on your wheels. You can get them polished and clearcoated but then it would kinda look like a dull chrome finish and NOT brushed.
