Roof Spoiler on Alpine White E90

I just thought I would post a quick FYI. I just purchased an ACS style roof spoiler for my 2008 328i from bimmian in alpine white. I was pretty pleased with the quality of the paint work, and I'm pretty picky. Anyway, once I put the spoiler on it really didn't have the 3D type look that I wanted. What I mean is, you could see where the spoiler was mounted to the glass, which is probably more of an issue with the lighter colored cars. Anyway, I went to a local sticker shop and got a long piece of scrap black vinyl and made a sticker to go "underneath" the spoiler. It really changed the look dramatically. Now it looks like you can completely slide your hand under the spoiler and it gives a a much sleeker look almost like the pictures you see where there is a heavy shadow "under" the spoiler. Before it kinda looked like a 2x4 stuck to my back glass. I'll post a couple pics later of before and after if I can figure out how, but I thought this might help someone out.

Do you have any shots of this? I'm interested to see what it looks like.

I'll post a couple pics in a few. I actually did a dry run with a roll of electrical tape as it is just a hair wider than what I needed. If anyone wants to get a rough idea of what it will look like just run a length of electrical tape under the spoiler from where it meets the window up. Sorry it's taking awhile to get the pics up, but I'm new to all this. I just tapered the ends kinda like a plastic butter knife is tapered (for like of a better analogy).

And after (complete with AC Schnitzer sticker I had to order from the UK thanks to ebay). Pics taken in garage, my cars blocked in right now.

That's vinyl baby!!!! Much more appreciable in person, but it looks like you could completely slide your palm under this thing even though there is only like 1/2 inch of space. Looks more like a louver now.

How did you attach your spoiler? I have the Carbon fiber version and it doesn't seem to be exactly the right contour for the window. I have tried the good 3m tape twice now along with the adhesion promoter/primer and it still wants to lift. I need a better mounting mounting method.
