Im guessing it should be ok, just might get a lot more vibrations, might want to consider dynamat

Quality carbon fiber should be more durable than steel. I wonder if it'll rattle like hell? You could always vent the trunk into the cabin worse comes to worse.

It will definitely rattle. As far as the trunk falling apart, I highly doubt it (may 20k watts of bass will do it). You can always get some DYNAMAT to reduce rattling if you like.

It should be OK alex. Just make sure you Dynamat it so it doesn't vibrate causing cracks or anything. What you have to worry about is the latch that holds your gas cap closed because that could break with the vibrations. I think your trunk is fine though. I have put over 4000 watts in mine, with no dynamat, and it just rattled like crazy, but nothing broke, but thats a stock metal trunk. Fold down your rear seats so the air pressure isn't sealed to the trunk. It will make the sound quality better and louder in the cabin. Or, you can build a custom system bandpassing the subs into the cabin, where there will be no rattles whatsoever.

Had this happen 2 weeks ago, theres an entire thread about this, too much bass breaks the fuel door latch
