Tire Issue or What???

My set-up:

245/35/19 ET 35 - front
275/30/19 ET 35 - rear

No rubbing issues or clearance issues.

Dropped (modestly) on H & R Sport Springs

Tires are YOKO ES 100's

So I have had all 4 tires strobe balanced perfectly.

Yet...when I hit 80 under hard throttle there is a persistent shudder in the front that has the sound and feeling of unbalanced tires.

The shop who balanced the tires double and triple checked them when I brought it back in and they are balanced yet I still get the shudder.

I don't know if it is the tires themselves or the shoes (VOLK TE37s)

Never had this issue before and I have run much more aggressive off-sets with much less refined wheels.

Anyone have any idea why the shudder occurs? I wonder if it is the YOKOs. They do not wear very well and if you run your hand along the tires you can feel where the outer edge of the treads flare out from the tire wear. I used to run PS2s and they remained perpetually smooth with no edges when you ran your hand along them.

Could this be the cause?

that is weird. first i would check if the wheels are hubcentric. a lot of wheel companies make the center bore over-sized and use hubrings to fit a variety of cars.....ie it could have been a set up for the E39 bmw which have a centerbore of 74.1 instead of the rest of the bmw's that have 72.6.

if the tire is cupping, then i would check the shocks......

honestly, i wouldn't know exactly what could be the cause......

Dude...you are a freakin' genius. Seriously...I completely forgot the VOLKs came with centering rings. I guarantee you when they pulled the tire the last go around there is a ring missing on one of the hubs.

Seriously...I owe you.
