Wil nonRFT fit on original wheels?

My 2007 328xi Contis are just about shot at 19000. In addition, they are noisy and rough. Yes, I read what turned up in the searches and have been reading complaints about RFTs for a while. But I don't know if my OEM wheels will take standard tires. I already have an aftermarket jack, two cans of sealant and lug wrench so I am good to go with non-RFTs.

Comments? Fwiw, I don't want aftermarket wheels, if I don't have to have them.

why not? I have dedicated winter tires non runflat mounted on my oem rims. then took the RFT and mounted them on CSL reps for summer.

Now, I just have to figure out which tires to buy. I am looking for an all-around tire that gives good mileage, is quiet (which the Contis are NOT) and gives good traction, wet, dry or snowy. I don't race, don't drag, don't do anything that one would consider on the edge. Just a guy who really likes his BMW.

To those that have done this what tires are out there? I am off to the Tire Rack web site for their input.
