Tire Help Needed Please!
hey everyone,
i have an 07 328i e92 sport package, which is on a 3 year lease and will be due in june of 2010, im @ 18,000 miles and my tires need to be replaced... a new set of runflats will run me $2,000, so my plan was to take the tires off, get a new set of tires for one year and put the runflats back on to return the vehicle, the extended wear and tear plan was purchased which allows me to return the vehicle with no thread, but they have to be runflats or a $1,000 fine will be charged. My question is, what are recommendations for decent tires to keep me for one year until I give the car back? thanks

You might be able to find some used stock RFT tires that another forum member is trying to get rid of in the classifieds/for sale section that you can pick up for cheap.
Another option is to get some General UHP tires which are relatively inexpensive and then sell them to someone else when you turn your car in. Good luck!

For a low cost, but still good performance tire I'd suggest taking a look at the Sumitomo HTRZ3. If you're after more wear and ride comfort rather than ultimate handling, the General Exclaim UHP is worth considering instead. Tires http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AH8&...ires/index.jsp
