I got really good service from Auto Glen BMW when I bought my car but the backup service has been downhill ever since. I wont advise any1 to deal with them. Very unreliable.

yeah 32Fiver, thats quite the norma, it seems that the sales people come from another planet to the service guys, unless of course it is just because they want to make the sale!?

I will be back at Menlyn this weekend for some final jobs that they just can't seem to fix, namely, Headlight alignment, Steering alignment and to fix the Rain Sensor, high Beam assist box they bbroke .....

Oh well, I am giving them one last chance before escalating to Head Office in Midrand....Pay a premium price you expect a premium service I see you have a 325i, I have a 320d and am loving it .... the turbo is a beast up here with such high alititude

DONFORD BMW in Stellenbosch is the best! The service is great and professional. A problem will be explained by the workshop manager or the tech that worked on your car and you can be assured will be fixed. Warranty related queeries will also be explained in detail if you inquire. I have been going there for more than 2 years and is completely satisfied with the dealership.

BMW Tygervalley is really good too, I've not received bad service there ever! My dad had a E46 320d, and when the turbo packed up, they replaced the entire engine all under warrantee. Sterling job, then when he upgraded to the E90, they gave him a great trade-in value!

Is your 320d standard, or modified? The 320d still has a mountain of power to be tapped safely!

she is stock ...... asked them at the dealer to check the exact engine specs and they came back and told me that it is the 120kw 340nm Torque one. I check my OBC menus and found the instrument panel initialisation was done on 7/08/2007. So I guess thats almost date of manufacturing ..... Freaking salesman swore to me that this was a 130kw version, bastard must have lied .....

Anyways, do tell more about the 320d and the mods we can do here in SA!

Ok here is my opinion .... Menlyn Auto Sales and After Sales advisors are nice people to deal with. The service from the workshop is shit, utter shit .... I am not going to go into all my details but lemme jus says you should not let some people near screwdrivers ... idiots

Next thing is a big thumbs up for Forsdicks Sandton, great service AND they seem to knwo whats going on in the workshop.!!

Hi Saffa, I did have a E46 320D and must say it was a great car, but after owning the Volvo S40 T5, this was miles apart. I am still getting used to a non turbo car. The 325i is great on top end but a little shy off the line.
