E90 Led reverse light

I want to change my reverse light to led so i can see what im backing into more visibly. from what i've established its a 1156 bulb type. now what i can't decide is what bulb would be most efficient in lighting up my rear

, and also if i would need a resistor or not to fool the computer. any help is apprecaited

Not for the reverse lights, they are just a bulb replacement. You can do a set of our 1156 LED Replacement Bulbs without resistors.

Is there a big difference in brightness? I've been thinking about getting tints and was concerned that it might be harder to see when backing up.

LEDs will definitely help. By the way it's TINT, not TINTS.

I've been reading that led reverse lights will actually be less intensive and visible then regular bulbs

Not necessarily. The ones sold by Jlevi and most other sponsors are shaped like that of a bouquet of flowers in which there are 32 LEDs that are forward facing. It's one directional so it will "fire" outwards as intended.

In my experience with 39mm festoon LED bulbs, it actually does a better job of illuminating.

why not just turn ur rear fog lights on if u want to see better when u back up
