Porting Throttle body?
I have search around the board and have found nothing about this being done. This is a mod I have done on almost every car I have owned and was wondering if was a viable mod? I haven't even looked at the stock TB to see if it would benifit from porting. Anyone out there know?

What size is the throttle body now? How big is the opening in the intake manifold? Seems like they are already the same size, no? If so, wouldn't it be pointless to increase throttle body size? all speculation and thinking out loud here.

IPhone app fail... Half my post didn't post... Ugh... I was saying you need to port match everything from the tb, spacer and intake mani to get the most benefit out of this mod!

if that's the case, then I'm sure BMW would have created an optional single turbo kit and higher flowing injectors too!

Did you get any increase in response when you port the TB? I dont see any room left in that TB for porting...

From everything ive heard the tb spacers etc.. wont do anything on a DI car because they are meant to help mix air and fuel better before entering the cylinder. Im by no means an expert though, thats just what ive read.
