Bike accident. I got rear ended

This is ridiculous. Long story short. As the riding season began here in Germany I took out my wife's bike for a spin. While I was stopped in traffic at a stop light behind anothr biker, in a big group of bikes but divided in pairs of bikes to keep it safe, this german lady runs into me. Her car was literally riding my bike. I was at a stand still with the front brake applied, bike in first gear and clutch engaged, as I'm getting ready for the traffic to stat moving, boom, this dumd ass lady runs into me claiming that she didn't see me. Two months have past and her insurance have not done anything about it. We have a lawyer working on the case and still nothing. The bike is at the shop in pieces and can't get fixed until the insurance payment is received. The rinding season will be over soon and my wife has no bike, so she can only settle for riding on the back of mine. Here are a couple of pictures.

I was just in the states a couple of weeks back and riding there is worst. I was pinned between a minivan and a wall about two inches from the wall and 6 inches from the minivan, after I brake hard and manage to get out of the the minivan diver has the face to tell me that it is my fult he can't see me because I decided to apend the rest of my life in a crotch rocket. That's the kind of ignorant drives populating our roads and putting bikers in danger for no reason. I was ran out of my lane 3 time and I cant tall the coutless time people decide to turn left in front of bikes.

Probably on an Army base or military area

I know there were housing neighborhoods in SD that weren't isolated from the civilian sector, but where the MP's had jurisdiction.... Don't know how it is in Germany though.

Yeah I had a helluva time when I was in Cali. People just weren't paying attention. And my bike was friggin canary yellow. I would have gotten something a little more subdued, but I liked the fact that people were more likely to see me. Boy was I wrong....

Yeah I had a CBR900RR and then a K1200R. I always wanted an all black bike, and drooled over the Raven paint scheme when Yamaha came out with that, but I just can't imagine what it would be like with an even less visible bike.

Fukin cagers... I am always paranoid and looking behind me until the cars come to a complete stop behind me. I have almost been rear ended once but then I think the area I live in people pay a little more attention, thankfully!

Yeah the Raven R1 was going to be my next bike. But then I quit riding. I miss it a little, but I'm glad I got out before I became a pancake.

Riding bikes will always be dangerous, but what in this life isn't? People die eating rice, I will keep riding untill the day I die. If you miss it enougth then get another bike. Dumb ass drivers will always be out there, just be careful and don't let it get to your head.

That sucks man.

I get so pissed everytime I see people not paying attention when changing lanes. Hell they can't even see cars, why would it be different with moto's?
