stock low end vs JB3 low end response

So, I decided to go to stock bypass on jb3 to feel the difference. I must sau the stock low end
Is so much better...more responsive and at lower rpm 1500-2000. Makes for more
Enjoyable DD. Jb3 seems to lag until 3000-3500.
Has anyone experienced this?
Is this a function of raising boost too quickly?
If anyone could just build torque sooner with tune, that would be a hit. Maybe a flash
Will be the fix.

Tried any of the lag fix maps? What progman version are you?

Map6 for me is so tricky and instant light throttle openings (right off idle) are almost hair trigger. But easily manageable. And I pre 29.2 - IE not using lag fix.

I'm pre29.2 as well. Tried maps 2-6. Lagfix is better but not same as stock feel.

I'm pre-29.2 with 93 octane and map 7 (lagfix) seems to give me way more grunt off idle than stock. Map 6 is stock-ish at the low end for me. Haven't decided yet which map I like better.

Have you let the maps some time to get adapted?
Im on map 5 ver 1.3 and at first it felt very laggy.
Then the more I drive the car it got better.
Afer about 3 days its very smooth through out the rev range.
Very quick and smooth response from stand still. Lagfix is a god send.

I think the fact that the boost comes on so strong may make it seem like lag. I think its as strong or stronger down low on JB3 and then much stronger when the boost kicks in.

For most of the software I have ever used it takes about 50 miles of *moderate* driving to properly adapt the car, no WOT pulls.
