Today is one month since...
Well on May 23d I took a delivery of LCI 328i. Black on black, black trim, USB and heated steering.
Still as excited to be driving it as i was the 1st day Ive got her. LoL, every morning after i brush my teeth, I go to the garage to check her out. Not planing to do any more mods this season. Saving up for the next. So far all ive done is 20% tints all around, put vinyl on orange reflectors and my fav mod Mtech shifter. Ohh and very dark license plate covers Regular camera. Not a pro. Enjoy.

thanks everyone. I originally was looking into 323 but since it didnt have options that i wanted i pushed for 328i. More money to spend, so told myself no mods for this summer. Tints are always a must for me. I never ever had manual car before so i decided to spoil myself with a shifter. As for reflectors they were only $3

but yeah, i know what you mean. I made a pshop couple weeks ago to see how it will look. JB and its a B^%^& to clean it. Im very happy with the color tho. Quote:

Dude I'd luv to do that. It would look so much better. Con = Cops. I never tinted the windshield before but im sure cops will f**k me up. I don't want to get any tickets. When the car came and I saw they put front plate on it, i was a little upset. Wanted a clean look but i think its for the best. Who knows how many tickets i'll save in the end?

i just bought my E90 LCI performance black grill from Autohaus dealership on steeles last last month for 1/2 price. Came out to like $100 tax-in canadian. I think the special is over now though...don't need to buy it from Tichser online.
I just installled it last week...looks way more aggresive now! |

I'm gonna try to vinyl mine this week. Hope it goes well. If not then Ill pain it. After all there is no point for me spending $100+ for a grill while mine is half black already. All I gotta do is the frame.

Car looks great Shift knob looks great - how does it feel compared to stock? Was it hard to remove the old one or install the new one?

The stock shifter in 09 versions is great much better then the previous one. I drive my friends 07 335 time to time and i cant stand his shifter.
I got Mtech shifter before i even got the car so i had to put it in when the car came. If i knew the shifter in 09 models was different i would not buy mtech. They feel really almost the same the only difference is that Mtech shifter is shorter and youll feel it. So when I put it on i didnt like it due to the fact that i had to get use to it. Now tho, im very happy i got the mtech shifter, It looks great and feels great too. Plus i got use to the shorter shifter. Taking it off was very easy. All you do is pull with full force but without any speed or you'll hit something something in the car when it does come off. Just slowly apply more and more pressure as u pull an it will come off. The Mtech shifter doesnt sit as good as the OEM, at least mine didnt. so at 1st i was scared that it would come of. Been a month and it never did. As long as you dont try to pull it out it will stay there for good. ps i see u have an 06 model. Then Id def suggest you to get Mtech shifter. Ill post more pics of the two shifters later on.

Thanks for the great info - looking forward to seeing the height difference I think I'll definitely get one - after seeing the Mtech, mine looks (and feels) so plastic (i.e., cheap).

The car looks good with the tints! My car looks exactly the same as yours but mines auto. Picked it up 3 weeks ago, can't wait till it breaks in. Are you going to do a break in oil change?
