Ordering mods. Need your opinion.

Hi everyone,

I have a black 325i. I'm getting the Oem spoiler, roof spoiler, front grill, and front splitters for my car. I want to get all in CF but I don't know if I'm going over board on the CF. I just need your opinion if you guys think it'll look right. I know it's my car in the end but I just need some input from you guys. In the future I might get a Hartge lip or M-tech bumper as well. My concern also with getting the CF oem spoiler is if it will look right with the M-tech bumper. Or maybe I should get a different spoiler to mesh better with the M-tech. I jsut havn't seen any black E90s with an M-tech kit and an oem spoiler. Any advice would be greatly apprecaited. Much thnx

Order it up bro, post pics when finished! Should flow real nice. I dont think cf looks bad on jb at all, some will disagree on here tho. Worst case scenario, you dont like, sell to me - for cheap!

I would skip the extra spoilers, especially the roof spoiler. If you really ant to change up the rear, get a CSL trunk.

I agree with you on the roof spoiler. I'll pass on that. But you really don't like the OEM style spoiler? I think it looks very clean on the car for some reason.

I'm not a fan of big honkin' spoilers on cars. I do like the M3 lip, but on the E9x I feel like it's too understated. That's why I like the CSL.

As you get more aggressive with your other mods (performance), get more aggressive with the styling. I always thought cars with stock wheels, and unlowered with 30 cosmetic mods looked silly. I dont see anything wrong with the OEM spoiler, but try not to over-do the carbon fiber stuff. Keep it tasteful and classy.

your right. I'm gonna leave the roof spoiler out. I think I'm going to get the oem spoiler painted and get the CF splitters, grill, emblems, and blackline tails. I think that will go well together. Any suggestions on lowering kits? I'd hate to mess with the smooth ride by dropping it but I like the look of the E90s dropped. I hear H & R lowering kits are very good.

Definitely get coils if they are in your budget, preferrably dampening adjustable ones. If not, look into H&R Sport springs, the drop is nice without being overdone.

i would be careful with just dropping them on H&R springs. i read on another thread that a lot of people were experiencing their shocks going out within 6 months. there is no cheap way to lower, the 2 cheapest i found were H&R cup kit and bavarian. if you want recommendations on pricier kits, bilstien pss10's are highly regarded, they are a little more than double the H&R cup kits though.

also, JB and CF...i don't really like that combo. I'd def get the m-tech front lip, get the painted spoiler, skip on the roof, don't get the CF grill, that's ghetto looking. def get the blacklines.

pass on the roof spoiler, but think about adding CF mirror covers.

I'm getting the oem spoiler painted for sure. What do you guys think about CF front splitters? Anyone have pics of a jet black e90 with CF front splitters by chance? I'm trying to get can an idea of what the CF fiber and the jet black looks like together.

CF front splitter will look fine on Jet Black. It'll give some contrast when someone's up close staring at the CF weave pattern
