Xenon Conversion

I don't know if this is good news or not to anyone. But my dealership technicians have tenitively agreed to do the install for me when I get my new euro non-adaptive xenons in. This way all work will be backed and still under warranty. Plus he is going to look into the pain in the butt warning light and may remap the ecu to allow the lights.

I know most of you guys just didn't ask to save the money, but I'm not installing them either way and would rather my dealership do it than any other mechanic. All I did was ask and talk to the guy, and he said with what I've told him he is confident he can do it, but reserves the right to turn down the job if it seems to be something they don't want to get into.

This is obviously prolly better news for the people on the fence that don't want to mess with it like me and want their dealership to do it. Anyways can't wait for them to get here

Depending on how many hours it takes, between $250-500.

Even if it were $500 I won't mind because I'll still have my warranty and they may be able to remap the ecu to get rid of the warning light.

Sure. I can do that. I'm giving him the wiring diagram today to go over so I'll prolly talk to him later today or sometime this week.

other than tint, no. I'm not sure if I want to do any performance mods being that it's an auto. I did those mods on my last car and I don't know if I see the point on this car. I prolly will start once I begin to get bored with some things. As of now I love the car.

Although they just came to pick it up and gave me a loaner for the day to install sirius. I just fell in love with the auto folding mirrors. I must have them! Someone needs to find out how to add that feature after getting the car. I also have leatherette in my car and this one has leather. I really can't tell that big of a difference and I think I actually like the leatherette more. Besides the leatherette is the so called "leather" that almost all other car makers use.

This car has the premium package over mine and personally I don't see the worth in it other than the folding mirrors.

arent the folding mirrors are on all the E90s??...and the windows go down the sunroof opens all with the holding of the top button on the FOB...
I have premium package and YES its worth it! The one thing alone is the bluetooth PHone thing..I dont even have to open my phone its just in my pocket and I can go throught the addy book call people clearer and its hands free! It also has SOS system where i can call some hot ladys in texas that help you get to where ur going make me dinner reservations etc..
I also can program 3 different garage doors to my rear view mirror to auto open.. HMM im sure theres more witht the premium ill think of later...
The premium package also comes with the leather like u mentioned so all in all its definitly worth it in my IMO..

Possibly. But the difference between this loaner and mine are minimal. I guess it's something I'll consider the next time around but for $40-60 a month more I didn't care. Plus I'm only 23. I have to have something to look forward to haha, if I would have gotten it all now what would I have then? Something better will always come out but for now I'm fine. I just want folding mirrors haha.

yeah........the folding mirrors are fun. I like pulling up to my son's football practice to park and right before I get out the mirrors fold in. The kids go........."Cooooooooool!". It is a useful feature especially with parking on the street.
