side marker replacement

I got a new set of side markers.

How do I install them? Do i just yank out the old ones?

2006 325i  [0.00]
slide back towards the rear of the car, pull out towards out. use a flat head to unlock the plastic piece, if that piece breaks you will be fine. I dont know why bmw made it like this. it still locks in without it.
