Starting July 1st, automated vans will begin dispensing tickets in construction zones on highways at the tune of $375 for the first offense and 4-5 years of insurance rate increase, and $1,000 fine, 90-day suspension and 7 year minimum insurance rates increase on the 2nd offense! This is for ANY sped over the limit. Literally you can unwittingly drive through a consturction zone at 46mph, get zapped by two separate vans and end up paying $1,375 and have you license taken away from you in 2 weeks when they mail you the tickets without even knowing it!

How the fuck is this allowed and tolerated? This is some fascist shit. Read on:

yeah, same here. bad enough, though, that 90% of the highways are construction zones now
