Need help with 09' 328i!
Hey guys... I'm about to buy an 09' 328i once the 2010's come out. I'm waiting for the 10's to come out so the 09's will drop in price. I'm trying to get a manual. I think it would be best to purchase my car either in LA or Riverside/ Irvine area. How much do you think the price will drop once the 10's come out? and how much should i pay for my car with the premium package.
Also, can i buy the navagation later because i want it, but i can't afford it right now? thanks guys for all your help |

The price drop won't be much, expect the upper 30s. Which nav are you talking about here? The actuall nav or the protable one? If it's the factory navi then it has to be done during the construction of the car. The dealer cannot do it once the car is sitting in the lot.

you're better off getting the actuall car you want now with the great financing and not worry about settling for a car that won't be your first choice to save a couple hundred dollars

Cheaper to get nav built with the car rather than an add-on later. If you decide to add later, then you should just get a Garmin or something portable.

Hopefully some of the Southern Cal guys can give their input on how much above invoice they are getting their cars for. Sorry to tell you though that you're probably not gonna get much bargaining power with cash, not these days anyways. Good thing for you that you're from southern cal and there are a lot of sponsors on here and bimmerfest that would be able to give you a fair deal.
If you really want the in-dash nav from bmw, my advice is to just get enough money to get it with the car. It is way too expensive and difficult to retrofit it at a later date. |
