BT Code Advise

Hi,

I had a brake pad wear error the other day so replaced the rear pads and sensor. Error went away

Anyway every other day the wear error returns, I cna stop and start the car and 95% of the time the error goes away.

Today I played with the BT tool when it came back again.

I see 0% on the rear pad CBS data using the BT tool but it won't reset.

Short test on the car yields the following BT code;

Stability control
Current Fault Codes
5DE2
DSC-ECU: ECU-internal: DePwm status: Software/hardware configurations do not match (DF11i/s).
Error will not cause a warning light
Error is currently present
Test conditions have been completed

When I clear all faults with the BT software the CBS goes back to normal and the error light is gone. But then it returns again after a short period of driving.

Any help would be appreciated, sensor seams to be fitted correctly.

Cheers,

Stuart

just take it to the dealer if you have warranty.

I just replaced the pads and sensor also and I still have the error message.

What progman are you currently running? If you are pre 29.2, I think it takes a progman update to fix this - Since I am pre 29.2 and don't want the update, I just ignore the warning symbol/error.
